I write this looking on at thousands of files being deleted, one by one, flipping by at light speed in my FTP client. A folder of 482, 19, 40, 26... each containing stick figures, gifs, old pivs, becoming nothing. I'm talking about the old share fuction we had here, where you could upload stuff to share with people on the forum, or wherever. I'm talking about the folder that has been sitting on this server for 16 years. All 3 gigs of it. When I hit the delete button and started watching those files vanish, memories came flooding back. And of course, regret, for not warning anyone. Regret for being so flippant. I'm sorry for not warning you. I've been paying way more than I should to keep this site up, and deleting some things helps keep server costs down. It's been years since the site has been functional, and I hope if you had anything in there it was backed up on your computer, or wherever pivs go to die.

Just playing around with HTML and CSS. I kinda like the simple look, tho I might spice it up a little. I'm sorry for leaving all you hanging... I plan to go through my emails soon. I may not reply to every one, but, as always, thanks for the love.

Hey everyone, just want to let you know I've been reading all your emails, even if I haven't replied to them. Some of them are really quite sweet, while others are pretty to the point (for ex; "where are mah stick figurez??!" etc). I haven't really sat down with the site yet for mostly personal reasons. I say mostly, because there is also this lingering voice telling me restoring the site to its previous state, a design approaching 15 years old, is pointless. I get it, for the old timers we just want a place to go to and remember, but a site should be more than a gravestone. What made Droidz interesting was that it was always thriving, even in its decline it had a small base of active users, and of course the wealth of resources for Pivot. With Pivot 5, I wonder (again) what Droidz can be. And at the same time, I must wonder if, for it to be anything, I might need step back and let someone with more inclination, talent, and vision take the reins. Anyway, this is just where my mind is at on the subject. I will still probably restore the site to its previous state, even if that means leaving Droidz up as a memorial.

Yeah, I've had some issues getting the site back up. Unfortunately it is horribly outdated, and has been tougher to fix than I initially thought. I'm not sure when the site will be back at this point. Bare with me.

Feel free to contact me @ jonm1211@gmail.com, though if you're wondering when the site will be back, I don't really have an answer. All the same, thanks for all the well wishes.
